| does anyone know anything about the possible release of "the night manager"? it was hst's book about running the mitchell brothers' o'farrell theater in frisco. a lo-o-o-ong time ago i was speaking with hst's literary agent (at the time) and asked him about it. he said it was the funniest thing hst had ever written, which is saying a lot. he also told me hst was "just pulling the final thread through it." this was 1987, i believe. |

| After reading about it in McKeen's Outlaw Journalist bio, I had the same interest in 'The Night Manager.' I wonder if HST even completed it? |
