To Wayne (and anyone who may have known Hunter):
We all know that he was fond of firearms. Did he favor one, in particular? That nickel-plated shotgun or perhaps a machine gun? Did he prefer a particular caliber of handgun?
Cheers!

For home defense Hunter was particularly fond of his Marine Defender which is stainless steel, not nickel plated as you can see from Janes.com:
Description
This has been specially developed to resist corrosion in a marine environment; the barrel is of chromed stainless steel and the receiver is phosphate-coated, while all external parts have a bright chromium finish. In other respects it is similar to the basic 'Defender' model described in the preceding entry.
I wrote about Hunter and his Marine Defender recently in my new vodcast at this site. See "The Night We Shot Keith Richards Part 2:

Awesome, Wayne! Thank you for the post - and for the clarification.
Did Hunter favor a particular pistol for concealed carry? |

Hunter never carried a concealed weapon to my knowledge. _________________ Polo is My Life |
